I have a hampton bay ceiling fan and am having problems with the remote
Hello,
I have a hampton bay ceiling fan with the remote for dimming the lights on the fan and adjusting the fan speed. The light turns on but as the light gets brighter the fan slows down where as the light gets dimmer the fan speeds up. I tried cutting the light off completely via the pull chain but the fan will not work when the light is off. Any help would be great! Thanks, Brad. |

The ceiling fan remote has lost part of its function. The button which turns the light off/on and dims the lights will only dim the lights. It will not turn the lights off and on. All other functions work such as fan speed, fan off/on and reverse. Any thoughts
I installed a Hunter ceiling fan with a Hampton Bay remote. The remote controls the fan correctly. The light works when pulling the chain but does not work from the remote. I wired the blue wire from the remote to the black/white striped wire from the fan. Any suggestions?
