    Obd plug doesn't read
On a 2000 Accord coupe the OBD plug is not working properly. The emissions control people say they get no reading, and Advance Auto Parts said they got no reading when they plug in their meter. How can we trace down the problem?

Do you or someone you know have a spare ecu? Also you can get the pin out and check it pin for pin.

Most common problem is no power at pin #16. Check all fuses (usually lighter fuse)

We could not find any blown fuses, and the lighter socket is hot. The #16 pin had no voltage, so we found a fused voltage source and hot wired it. It now reads properly on the OBD meter.
