Hey,
I am 11 and recently been thinking: Am I too heavy for my age/height? I am 143cm tall, starting to develop and weigh 35-37kg. What is the average/ideal for my age/height/position in life.

There is no ideal weight for an 11 year old, because there are too many variations. Instead of worrying about weight, I would focus on fitness. How many squats or press-ups can you do? How fast can you run upstairs? How far can you want in 30 minutes? How long can you run before you have to stop?

If you are fit, and generally eat good quality food, your weight should not be an issue.

I think I must be all right then because I am in the fastest division of running, can hold the 'bridge' for 2 minutes and can run/jog a 3km track without stopping. Thanks.

Delighted to hear it. There will always be people who are thinner or fatter than you. The trick is to be comfortable in your own body, and happy with it, rather than comparing it to other people.

I'm 11 and all my friends weigh different to me.It depends on whether your weight is muscle or fat because my best friend weighs more than me but is always doing sport. It depends on a lot of things.
