    Is a skateboard on magnetism possible?
    My brother is planning to make a skateboard based on magnetism so that it is eco-friendly and affordable... is it possible?
    Please give suggestions as well on EMAIL REMOVED

    I wouldn't think it is impossible since there are trains that are made to move using magnets. Of course, if you now want a large surface to skateboard on, you'll need a large magnetic surface area which is not so cheap nor 'healthy'. Prolonged exposure to strong magnetic fields can have long term effects. There are still much to research in this respect though.

    If you are considering for travelling, then you are probably considering electromagnets, which in turn involve electricity. This causes two main problems:
    Where to get electricity?
    What would be done to ensure safety while travelling on those rails carrying high currents?
