    Going from a ceiling fan to pot lights
    Going from red black and white wires to just black and white how do I hook up my pot lights . Thanks

    I am instailing pot lights in the kitchen but the wire has red black and white and all my pot lights are just black and white wires. Do I just cap the red??

    Maybe, depends on how switch is wired. Pull switch and tell us what wires are connected to switch.
