I found an abandoned boat in Nevada. How do I get title to it.
The boat is for sale by a private party. The seller says the owner left it with them because it had a brpken motor. The owners have not returned or contacted the seller in more than a year. I want to buy the boat, but I want to do it within the law.

It is not necessariy legally abandoned - what means has the "seller" used to contact the owner? That comes first.

The "seller" presumably has the address of the owner and needs to get title.

I looked at that link and don't see anything about title registration for boats. If there is a trailer, it needs to get registered, but I don't know about the boat.
