I don't anymore. At the beginning it was a great service now it seems populated by scammers. I find Kijiji to be much better.

Just to add to NK's response, be VERY careful when buying sort after consumer electronics as there are more scammers than real people.

Carefully check feedback and ONLY use Paypal to make the purchase, at least then you are covered, to an extent.

Echoing the rest of the crowd, I haven't had much luck purchasing electronics from Ebay. Having a picture of the item means very little when it's incredibly easy for sellers to grab the picture from anywhere on the internet and say it's theirs.

If you're having doubts about purchasing it (which if you weren't would you have posted this?) then go with your gut and don't do it. Look on craigslist or your newspaper and then only deal in person and verify the item works before you exchange money.

I've bought things on eBay before, mostly flags, but I did buy two CD's on there. They were both genuine, but I don't use eBay anymore. They do have a lot of scammers, as everyone above me said. When ever I buy something online, I usually use Amazon.

Revocable Trust (Grantor) Trust w/3rd party trustee [ 2 Answers ]

It was my understanding that if a grantor set up a revocable trust and a third party (let's say a bank) was named as trustee, the trustee was required to file a Form 1041. I am unable to locate any IRC or other guidance that would confirm or deny this. Please help. Thank you. Diana

Let's say I just won my first bid on eBay. What is proper etiquette, normally? Should I pay immediately, or should I wait a few days until I get the product and then pay?
