    Hi, kiranpree!

It can take quite a bit of patience to use this site. The best people to help you might not even be online here right now and might even be asleep! Everyone who answers questions here does so voluntarily on their own time. It can sometimes take only a few minutes, to a number of hours or even days to receive the help that someone might want.

    Thanks!

When you purchase prepaid Insurance the journal entry is:
Debit Prepaid Insurance for the amount
    Credit Cash for the amount.

For salaries the journal entry is:
Debit Salaries Payable (possibly) for the amount(if applicable)
Debit Salaries Expense for the amount
Credit Cash (or Payroll Cash) for the amount paid or if at the end of an accounting period Credit Salaries Payable for the amount
