    Custody
In July my daughter's biological father and his lawyer manipulated me into giving him what was supposed to be a temporary custody. Although I regret to admit I was stupid enough to allow myself to be manipulated, I signed the papers with no legal representation. He did not use the appropriate court for the area in which he resides, which would have been county, therefore he filed this in the city. Is that legal even though a judge signed off on it? He used a different address, a P.O. Box instead of his physical address. I assume it would be illegal to do things in that manner. I am taking a ton of positive steps to get custody back of my child, who is only 6 years old, but can you help me on this?

Did he file where the child is or was residing? What was it you signed?
