    Why do you feel guilty about something you have no control over?
    Do you feel guilty if you catch a cold or otherwise get ill?

    What do you feel guilty about?

    It is a painful time of loss ,and grieving can affect your thoughts.
    If you talked to a counselor or clergy member a trusted friend even, that could really help.
    I would encourage you to try a professional, there may be a lot going on here with so many emotions interacting.

    Try this if possible. I think it is the best thing for you now.
