    Do you get paid double time after 12 hrs in canada
    I would like to know how overtime works in canada do you get paid time and a half after 8hrs and do you get paid double time after 12hrs

    No, you don't get double time. After you work 8 hours at the regular rate, if you choose to work a civic holiday, or o/t, then it is time and a half. It is up to your employer and that is who you should be asking.
