    How to respond to judgment
A judgment was rendered against me without me being aware of it. Few years ago I took out a line of credit from a credit union for $45,000.00 to put down towards a house. The transaction to purchase the home fail through and I ended up losing the entire amount to the builders. In addition, I was experiencing a financial hardship due to major reduction in icome. Initially, I was in constent touch with the credit union to make an arrangement to repay my debt according to the income I was bringing in. The representative for the financial institution insisted that I come up with entire amount or face the consequences. I could not give the bank what I did not have. To my surprise, my personal bank account was frozen due to a judgment against me. I also discovered that the court paper that was sent to my residence was signed by my sister. I never knew a court paper was sent to my house. How will I be able to contest the judgment that I was not aware existed? Any feed back is greatly appreciated...
