Is your bank a credit union? Check the fine print on the agreement you signed when you got your visa and I am quessing that you got your visa through the bank you deal with. I know some credit unions (and possibly some banks) have very fine print that allows them to take your money if you miss a payment.

If the credit cards are from the same bank. Normally there are terms when you get the card that allow them to do it.

Only you know the terms you agreed to. Just like the terms on this site when you signed up, did you read them ? Bet you did not read the ones for the credit card. Most people do not
