The underbelly of a bathroom sink is wet, including the area around it (where it sits in). This space is probably 36" x 24. There are no signs of a leak as the pipe isn't wet. When I open the cabinet doors a very strong mildew smell comes, but the smell is there even when the doors aren't open. There is mildew build up on the rim of the drawers but not under the sink. This is a sink that does not get used much.

Other sinks in the house are not wet.

What is material of sink?

Have u checked the hook up where water line attaches to faucet?
