    My doggies
Ok So my mum has gone on holidays for 6 weeks and I'm left to look after my dogs. I don't have a problem with that and I am doing all the right stuff feeding walking baths attention...

This might sound silly I don't know but when I go to work and they are left inside all day I feel bad and wish I could give them something to make them happier.. They look at me so sadly when I leave.

I can't leave them out side as people will steal them and possible hurt them (little maltese dogs). I can't leave the curtin open so the sun can get in as that leaves the house open for ratbags to see inside and they LOVVVVEEEE sitting in the sun. They are used to mum being home most days and she lets them out side.

Maybe I'm just too soft and care too much but I feel bad for leaving them... They don't really play with toys on their own so I can't just buy them a toy. Is there anything I can do to make them happier?

I like to leave the radio on. It gives them sense of someone being home. What about nyla bones or Kongs? What about those toys that treat them when they work for them?

I have thought about that and they really don't play with toys unless I pick it up and throw them. We tried a kong once and it laid there for days untouched.

Ill try the radio that could help.

    Thanks.

    They will be fine.
One dog alone in a house is not good, but if there are 2 of them they have each other for company.

Mine get left alone a bit and I just make sure they have some toys, 2 beds and everything chewable is out of reach. They are very excited when I come home, but they survive.
