    I was told by the IRS not to talk to social security admin. About them garnishing me.
    I was told by the IRS not to contact the Social Security Office , after they sent me form 668 Notice of Levy letter. Why can't I contact the Social Security Office. Thank you for your reply.

    You can certainly contact the Social Security Office but since this is an IRS levy there won't be anything that SS can do for you to keep the levy at bay.

    To stop the levy, you need to follow IRS procedures to show that levying your Social Security benefits will cause you undue financial hardship by garnishing your ONLY source of income.
