What happens to probation fees when I am spending the rest in jail
My boyfriend has violated his probation and he has to spend the remainder of the time in jail. But today found out that he still has to pay $2700 and for the new offense they have added on another $2700. So when he gets out we have 1 year to pay off these fines. Is this correct.

Were these merely the fines for the crime ?
