    Sheltie skin problems
I have two shelties but only one has a skin problem. My sheltie has lost some hair at the top of her ears. Her skin is very itchy and she will dig/chew herself open. The vet has looked at her numerous times, a scraping of her skin to check for fungus and also we have tried steroids, which did help a little. We are giving her fish oil, which seems to help some. Have also tried selsun blue shampoo which did not help. We live in the desert and fleas are not a problem. My sheltie eats dog food which does not contain any grains. Any and all assistance is appreciated.
