    Need some suggestions, Please.
I have been dating this guy for 4 months, next month is his 40 birthday. Anyone have any great Ideas on what I can do, I would really like to top my Christmas present to him, (football tickets to go and watch his favorite team play for him and a friend, plus airfare and hotel.) I really would like for this to be special for him ( He is going through a horrible divorce) But since we have only been dating a few months I am not sure what to do.

What about having a poem framed?

    Birthday Blessings

    Instead of counting candles,
    Or tallying the years,
    Contemplate your blessings,
    As your birthday nears.

    Consider special people
Who love you, and who care,
And others who've enriched your life
    Just by being there.

    Think about the memories
    Passing years can never mar,
    Experiences great and small
That have made you who you are.

Another year is a happy gift,
So cut your cake, and say,
    "Instead of counting birthdays,
    I count blessings every day!"

It would be hard to top the Christmas present. Not to rain on your parade, but can you afford to spend so much on someone who you've only been with for 4 months? Sorry don't let me spoil your Holiday.

Do something sexy, surprise him. If you are really close, maybe a party would do because 40 is a big year. Otherwise surprise him with new sexy lingerie and some cake to smear all over both of you. As far as a tangible present goes, maybe a trip for you two somewhere romantic, just for a weekend (if it's not too expensive). Otherwise golf clubs, clothes, a pinball machine, whatever he's interested in. remember to be SEXY, because that's what he'll really remember
