    Tub to shower replacement
Should I hire a contractor to replace my tub/shower with a tiled shower or can I do it myself?

Depends how handy you are, if you have all the tools to do acceptable job and how picky you are. Yes, you can do it yourself... but if you've never done it before, you'll be better off hiring a professional...

Let's see what other experts have to say about this... Milo

Based on all of the postings I have found about this type of project, it seems to be a bit more complicated than I originally thought. I'm handy enough, but neither my husband nor I have done more than carpentry-type projects, (no plumbing). I just didn't want to get deep into it and find it to be more complicated than I thought and have to pay someone a bunch of money to "fix" it for me. Thank you.

    I agree with Milo.

Get 3 quotes on job and take the one u feel most comfortable with. The options that u get can vary a lot, try to keep them similar so pricing can be compared.

    Good luck
