    Hi,
Is the switch mounted at the steering column or the fender deck on which the seat is mounted?
    Peace,

    Hi,
Your machine is either a 2003 or 2004 model and was made after the acquisition of Murray by Briggs. It was actually a product of AYP and had the Murray labelling atached. A link to the parts breakdown is here:
    http://www.outdoordistributors.com/p...PARTS-LIST.pdf
Everything occurs on page 15. You must remove #2 insert, #37 and #38 bolt and wsaher and #1 steering wheel. This will make othe pieces moveable. Then remove #4 screw from both left and right of #3 console and slide it upward. Should be a Delta switch which has plastic latches on opposite sides that most be squeezed in to release(left picture) so that the switch can be pushed upwards and outwards. It is probably necessary to unplug the connector from the bottom first. From pages 5 and 6 the switch is Part #1401149. Two different views of the switch attached.
    Peace,
    Clarke

Will start and run fine, but won't shut off with key. I'm checking grounds but have found nothing out of order so far. My next guess would be a faulty ignition switch. Its and older model, 12.5 HP. Any other ideas would be appreciated.
