    Irregular and short periods
    I am 13 and started my periods about 2 months ago at first the blood was brownish and my period only lasted for about 3 days, since then I was meant to have my next period a month later on the 30th November but instead I came on the 16th of December so far this is my 3rd day and my blood is red but I haven't bled a lot and keep getting headachs and cramps is this normal to have short periods like this? :confused: :)

    Yes it is, you don't have to worrie.. you will regulate soon.. and as for the headake and cramps.. take a warm bath and some midol.. or if the crams gt bad.. use a hot water bottle or a warm towel

    Missed or late period!
    I Have started my periods and the 1st time I started I was only on for about three days my second period was late and I was only on for about three days then, but now I haven't come on my third period at all! Or eaither its very late! But why are they so mucked up, I have had a lot of spots lately if that helps you. :(

    Spots before period?
    Hi I wrote a message on late periods, but it hasent been answerd yet. I keep getting quite bad spots and my periods are mucked up, my mum says when I come on my period my skin will clear out is this true? Im 13 and started my period in November I was late for my second period then, but now I haven't had a third one at all! What's wrong with me? Have I even started at all!! Please answer. Thanks.:confused: :(

    It can take a year or so for periods to regulate when you first start getting them so don't worry, its quite normal. As are the spots I am afraid, they will clear a little at different stages of your cycle, its just a real clash of hormones going on in there.

    Oh, dear, I am sorry your question was missed.

    As for your periods, it can take a couple of years for some girls to have a regular period, some never do. I never did, just once every 3 months or so. So, you may be one that takes a while to get a period every month.

    As for it clearing up your face, that is really different for every girl because of changes in hormone levels. Actually, my daughter's got a little worse once she started her period, but acne is more genetic than anything. Ask your Mum and Dad what kind of acne they had as teenagers, I am sure you will be just like one of them.
