BC Statute of Limitations... when does the time start?
I have a bad/derogatory debt from BMO m/c on my credit report which I am in the process of preparing to pay off. However, I am very curious as to when the countdown begins on the statute of limitations (6 years in BC) kicks in?

On my credit report the account is stated to have "opened on" 05/06/2005 but the "reported on" date keeps changing every month or so. It currently says that it was reported on 06/24/2010 .

This debt has been "bad" probably since 2006. However does the countdown to the statute of limitations begin from when the company FIRST reported the bad debt? Or does the fact that they keep reporting it keep the clock from starting?
