    Am I too jealous
My husband went to an event with a his best friend where they stayed overnight. The next day when he got home I had asked him if he had a good time and who was there. A month later when he has had too much to drink he brings up that fact that he met some girl (a family friend of his friend) and hung out with her all night. He never mentioned her before. He then mentioned that he would like to find her on Facebook. I wouldn't have been mad if he had told me that he met her the next day. I think it's inappropriate for a married man to ditch his best friend to go hang out with a single girl and then lie to his wife about it.

Did he ditch the friend, hang out with the girl and lie to you about it? I guess he did.

Right - I could not live with the lie. Of course, he's told you he wants to find her on Facebook. I don't think I'd be happy with that.

However, I'd certainly sit down and have a conversation about what you consider cheating and what he considers cheating.

Before you do anything take his laptop open it to Facebook, then throw it out the window. If he doesn't like it throw him out with the lap top. I would be finding out if more than "hanging out" happened. What a guy!

He swears nothing happened but thinks I'm nuts for being mad. When I asked him what she looked like he said she had to be good looking or he wouldn't have been hanging out with her all night.

He's blatantly flaunting his conquest in your face! Find out who the girl is and pay her a visit. Have a talk and find out what happened. He may be totally innocent.

Even if he didn't do anything, I just think his behavior was inappropriate period. I don't think a married man needs to be paling around with a single girl and then lying to his wife about it. He does not see it this way.

Agree with my colleague, Kit - he's torturing you. He wouldn't hang out with her unless she were good looking?

I would certainly state my position, my rules - and I'm big on how unacceptable emotional cheating is. I consider this (looked but I didn't touch) to be emotional cheating. He was with her for SOME reason - !
