    Noise from 2nd floor bathtub
When I turn the water on in the bathtub upstairs (which is directly above the kitchen) there is a loud wooshing kind of sound. Once I pull up the pin to divert the water to the shower head the noise is gone.

The noise has been there since we moved in and I attempted to fix the issue by replacing the cartridge for the faucet but the issue still persists.

Any insight? I attempted to take out the tub a while ago but couldn't actually pull it out, so I had to redo all the tiles around the tub and don't look forward to doing that again but will if I really have to access the pipe under the tub.

    Any info would be great.

    Thanks in advance.
