We bought a child size vanilla cone for our year old dog.
Now I'm a little bit worried.. what will a sort of regular size cone of vanilla ice cream.. I'm sure it was too much.. He weighs about 50 lbs.

What is your question? Is that too much ice cream for a 50 pound dog? Will he be sick? What should you do?

It's certainly not an advisable "treat," particularly that size, but I don't see any lasting damage - other than calories and weight.

    My dogs love ice cream!

In fact, Dairy Queen sells 'pup cups'.. Small ice cream cup with a dog biscuit.

Your dog will be fine. Just keep an eye on him.

The only thing worrisome would be the lactose if any, in the ice cream. But at most, that would give your dog the runs.

Can't see any lasting impact as Judy mentioned.

Mine love ice-cream too, they always get the last of my cones when I have one.

If he eat a lot of it it might make him feel a bit sick, he may even throw up, but on the other hand he might be fine with it, every dog is different.
