I need the title or author of a comtemporary romantic book I read 6 or 7 years ago.
The premise of the book is a woman fell in love in high school got pregnant, father of baby doesn't know she's pregnant. The woman has ababy girl and gets married to a wealthy gentleman who is very domineering and controlling. She is mentally abused by husband, at some point she attends husbands company party and her old flame is there and they dance to the Van Morrisons song "Brown Eyed Girl" which was their song. Afterwards, they realize they still love each other and she tries to leave her husband but is locked in her room and drugged and her old flame is able to rescue her.
If the fictional story sounds familiar, I would really appreciate knowing the title of book or the authors name, as I would like to read it again.
