    What is the first thing that I will have to do to start my own business?
    I am currently enrolled in college, here in st.louis. My course of study is Business management. I would like to open a fitness facility.::rolleyes:

    You need a business plan, this is useful if you need finance and in any case you need to do some research whatever business you start

    Clete is right. There's software that'll take you through it. I like "Business Plan Pro". It'll cost about $50.
