    If half of a house. The front portion, is on the same breaker, a 15 amp, will this cause the breaker to shut down ? How many outlets should be to one breaker switch ?

    Rose,

    To answer you direct question, in a residential dwelling (single family home) there is no restriction on the number of receptacles on one branch circuit.

    Unless you have a very small and old home, I seriously doubt the one half of the home is on one 15 amp circuit breaker.

    Do you have a fuse panel or a breaker panel? What is the size of the main breaker (if you have a breaker)?
