    1 ppm means 1 mg in 1000 cm^3

    You can put 1 g in 1000 L of water, or 1 kg in 1 cubic metre.

    Everything in between will work, that is 0.005 mg in 50 cm^3.

    ppm=1mg/l.example-disolve one milligram of chemical in one liter of water.
