    Felony convictions that would prevent licensure as a nurse in Oregon
    If I was convicted of third degree theft a class D felony over 15 yrs ago would that prevent me from obtaining a nursing license in Oregon?
    Or sitting for the boards?

    Yes, it would. Nurses are not allowed to have a felony degree of any kind.

    It would most likely prevent you from even attending nursing school as most schools do background checks prior to accepting students.
