    How can I tell if I have a degas painting?
    This painting was a fam gift 30-40yrs ago, signature in left hand corner: Edgar Degas. Painting Description:Portrait of an old sea captain with a white hat & white hair & beard, with a lighthouse in the back, top right corner. It is on canvas, but has a serial number on the back. Could it be worth anything?
