How does someone take on dept of social services?
DSS thinks I am an unfit parent because I work a lot. They feel the other parent would be better to raise my 15 year old. The other parent is an alcoholic and has possession of drugs. I have raised my child by myself with no child support. They feel child support is not an issue.

This is really a legal issue, so I've moved it here. You left out a VERY important piece here. How did DSS get involved? If you were originally awarded custody what changed that DSS wants to change things? How long have you been separated from the father? We need more details to be able to help.
