    Canadian small city girl wanting to move to New York
    I live in a city of around 250,000 people in Canada, and I've always dreamt of moving to New York and living there for a little while. I have never been to New York (and I realize I would have to visit there before I even thought of moving there) but I think it would be a good thing for me to experience. So I'm wondering, will it be a culture shock to me? Will it be hard for me to get a work visa to be able to work down there? And is it expensive to live there?
    I know you all probably think I'm nuts, but I think it would be amazing, and no I'm not focusing on sex and the city or anything, I'm focused mostly on just living life there, working somewhere, paying rent, etc.
    I'm only 19 so of course I think I would wait a couple years, till I'm 21 at least.
    So what do you think? Good idea? Bad idea?
