    How can I get my wife's name off the deed without paying
    She abandoned our homr over four years with no ties to the home in anyway since, but she refuses to do the quit claim without being paid... I have already had the home refinaced and her name removed from the mortgage...

    You can't. She may no longer be on the mortgage but she still has a claim to the property.

    You need to go to Court and get an Order requiring her to deed the property over to you. At this moment in the eyes of the legal system she is a part owner. A Court order would have to address ownership.
