    Is there a difference in a/c units for mobile home compared to a house
    Just a quick question.

    The style of window matters -- casement, double-sash. The size of the area to be cooled matters (BTUs needed).

    The actual type condenser unit is the same ,because of the lack of insulation,cheaper windows,the need for more insulation in the roof area,, all this and more makes the size/btu`s to be different for mobile homes
