    If your TV already supports 1080p and the device you have connected supports 1080p (like a Blu-ray player, XBox 360, Playstation 3, etc) and is connected via HDMI, then you should get 1080p. However, make sure that you check the device's settings and that it is set to output 1080p. If you need more help, we will need makes and models of what you want to connect to the TV.
