    Should I do anything legally?
I wanted to know if my situation seems like it would make a case worthy of pursuing. The 5/3 bank was open on sat the 3rd I put my minor daughters social security check in and got out the $100.00 available the rest $89.00 was supposed to be deposited. They are supposed to deposit the next business day but were closed Monday because of it being a holiday. I went through the teller Tuesday and it showed the money in the account to be over $90.00 it did not say it was pending or anything so I transferred the money to my checking account. When I went to cash my check today they said the money was not in there due to it being a holiday when I put it in (3rd) and on Monday. The said I am negative over 50.00 which is fees a original for being overdrawn and fees that added up daily. They said it was not a bank error and said they would only wave 12.00 in fees once I put money in.

I don't know where you would pursue this - it appears you deposited the check, took a partial cash draw, returned the very next banking day and withdrew the balance before the deposit had been posted.

If you verified your balance and were told that the money was available and then the bank changed its mind, that's a different story.

They followed standard banking procedures - I don't see any type of action and I also don't see that you've been damaged monetarily in any way.

If I misunderstood the question please post more info.
