    Sears 74802 remote
    I have a used sears model 74802 (Kenmore CD-5201) ceiling fan with remote. I believe the previous owner changed the transmitter code so the remote no longer "talks" to the fan unit. Do you know where I can find the actual code number for the receiver so that I can re-enter it into the remote?

    You have to look on the receiver itself. It is often mounted inside the ceiling canopy. In some fans it is in other places. See:
