    Can I get tax deduction for live in aide?
    I have self-employed live in aide. I do not pay the taxes. The aide is suppose to. Can I get a tax deduction on my 1040?

    Have you hired ths aide to help you due to a medical condition you have? In other words, is this aide a health care worker?

    She is a health care worker. My father is 92 and has fallen twice and was hospitalized both times. My mother hired her to watch my father all the time.
