    Ceiling fan repair
My ceiling fan makes a clicking noise. Doesn't do it constantly but it is annoying. Is there a simple fix for this?

Your unit might just be resting on something making it out of balance. My ceiling fan makes a funny clicking sound when it's on high and wind is coming through my home and making the fan off balance. I just gently hold the unit from the bottom and gently move it to another area where the fan does not make a clicking sound. I just move the fan about 1/2" in one direction and then another 1/2" in another direction until the clicking stops. Maybe this is your fan's problem as well. Also does this fan do this on all settings or just on the high setting like my fan?
