    lexmark printer doesn't print?
    I have a lexmark printer x2580 that I installed in my Accer Vista but when I need to print it says "save" xps. It doesn't print the doc. I tried to save it but it is really strange. Is it maybe a problem with my computer? Why save it?

    Is the Lexmark the default printer? It sounds like your default is set to "Microsoft XPS Document Writer". Try going to Control Panel->Printers, right-click on the Lexmark, and select "Set as Default Printer".

    I'm not quite sure what you mean in your response, but I would go suggest going through the following procedure:
    1. Uninstall the Lexmark printer driver
      Use this procedeure.
    2. Download the Lexmark printer driver
      Pick the proper driver here.
    3. Re-install the Lexmark printer driver
      Use this procedure.


    Be sure to follow the instructions exactly regarding when the USB cable is to be plugged in, as I've found it is pretty unforgiving if you don't.
