    Approved date jan 2006 for I 130 processing time for brother
    My sister applied petition for her brother for I 130 brother or sister categories. She got approval January 2006. When the immigration can be processed?

    Check the visa bulletin from the US State Department Visa Bulletin for July 2010 and see what the FB-4 category is for the beneficiaries home country and compare with the priority date. The PD is in the upper left side of the I-797 approval notice. For most countries (other than china, the DR, India, MX and the Philippines) it is January 2001. The dates are moving well for FB-4, several months per calendar month.

    Check with an immigration attorney for more detailed information.
