XP Problems.
HELLO :) Serious problem. Ok, I have Windows XP installed twice on my computer.
The original installation, suddenly became unstable ( Suspicion of messed up / delted / damaged registry keys ) and now I can no longer use this innitial installation.
The message that appears, not long after I attempt to DO SO, reads:
Sunbelt Software / Counterspy Antispyware / Status *OXZ0000034* / Could not open specified file / Command line - device/harddiskvolume1/windows/system32
( followed by ) Windows is now restarting setup. Now, what it does after this, is direct me to a blank screen that remains idle for an infinite amount of time.
If I can no longer access this previous installation, I guess that would be OK, except I am adamant on NOT leaving my FILES and my SETTINGS and my DESTOP ITEMS
Behind. Is there a way of transferring these files, to the secondary Windows XP installation, that I now have stored on my computor?
So... These are the two main issues I would love to have assistance with
A) To define what the issue is, and to fix the problem with this original installation.
B) Want to know how to SAVE all of my stuff, that is currently inaccessible.
Any suggestions, etc on how to overcome these annoyances would be greatly appreciated!:D Thank you very much.
Please try to post A.S.A.P very frustrated and stressed...
