Have you tried Googling his name and details. There are several people finder type search engines online, also there's a site named BMD ( births deaths marriages in UK )search the records on that site, plus you could try rootsweb. Or any geneaology site may turn up something.

Search for a surname finder there are several however I can't think of any offhand. If I can think of any other sites you can use to conduct searches for people Ill repost here. I hope you're able to find him. Of course there are also electoral registers, for every town city village etc in England Scotland and Wales. I recommend you don't pay for any of these searches or sites, there are many free sites avialble to use.
