    VOP
My girlfriend has a first time VOP from at least two years ago. She knows that she does not have a bond until she goes to court,so my question is how long will she have to stay in jail before she gets a court date. We live in Cleveland if anyone is from or experienced the court system here.

    Hello I:

They'll probably keep her in jail maybe three weeks, or so. I'm just guessing.

She could be in for more than the 3 weeks until her hearing comes up. Is she giving herself up voluntarily on this VOP? Does she have an attorney? If she has an attorney things will go a lot quicker. The jails in Cleveland are crowded but in some cases they want to move people in and out to leave room for more people.
