    My dog does not sleep?
I adopted a 9 old Golden Retriever a month and a half or so. The people before me left her in a crate for 2 weeks so my dog fears the crate. She is up most the night pacing, panting and crying. I give her a lot of attention, kongs with peanut butter, bones... nothing works. I know I need to walk her more, but I haven't slept in weeks. Should I try the crate again? Help.

How do you know she fears the crate?
Where is she pacing? Is she in the same room as you at night?
She is fine during the day?

You might try her crate again. Most dogs like the coziness of the crate and feels safe.

Whether it works or not, the dog still needs some regular exercise.
