    Have troble finding my multimedia audio controller driver
    Hi I am having truoble finding the right multimedia audio controller driver for my computer it is a window xp and its amd athlon(TM) hep me I really need help thank you very much

    Drivers for controllers integrated onto the motherboard are usually provided by the motherboard vendor. See the motherboard documentation or the motherboard vendor's website to identify your specific controller chip. It can also be identified on the motherboard itself.

I recently had to reload my OS (XP) and noticed I didn't have any sound afterwards... its a gateway so I went to gateway.com to install the conexant audio driver but while installing... I get the message failed... tried again in safe mode and same result... any suggestions... Gateway MX6429...
