    How to fix a pull cord on a ceiling fan...
    My ceiling fan,, light pull cord pulled when I turned it off but it is now stuck in the pulled down position. so now I can't turn the light on.. this cord is very seldom used as it is controlled with a dimmer switch

    You may be able to push back in and switch on again. Most light switches cost a couple dollars and easy to change out. An electrician may just wire across the switch if controlled by a dimmer.
