Happy Canada Day all you Crazy Canucks! I know you're out there!
I hope every one has an awesome Canada Day! Be proud!

Here's a sobering thought. Without Canada, the world wouldn't have beer parlours, bloody Caesars, or Newfoundland Screech.

Guys, looking for a lady? In the 15 – 64 age group, for every 100 men, Canada has 102 women. The provinces where the imbalance is greatest are Newfoundland/Labrador, Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia; all have more than 105 women for every 100 men.

    And Remember:

    I'm not a lumberjack, or a Furtrader,
And I don't live in an igloo,
    Or eat blubber
    Or own a dogsled.
And I don't know Jimmy, Sally or Suzy from Canada,
Although I'm certain they're really, really nice.

I have a prime minister... not a president,
I speak English and French, not American
And I pronounce it About, not A-boot.

I can proudly sew my country's flag on my backpack,
I believe in peacekeeping, not policing,
    Diversity not assimilation,
And that the beaver is a truly proud and noble animal.

    A toque is a hat,
    A chesterfield is a couch,
    And it IS pronounced Zed,
    Not Zee... ZED!
Canada is the 2nd largest land mass,
    The 1st nation of hockey,
And the best part of North America.

    My name is...
    And... I... AM... CANADIAN!

    Thank you.

Right back at you AB ! Well put. I have heard that stuff from the other side of the border so many times over the years and its true because another PSW just joined us a few months ago from NYC and her dad wanted to know why she wanted to work on the other side of the border where they live in igloos and use dog sleds, he said, how will you get to work !

    Okay !

    Happy Canada Day !

You're right Tick. I used to work for an American cell phone company, and some of the clients used to think Canada was BELOW Texas! Some couldn't believe that we had working phones and computers, and some really thought that we lived in complete darkness for 364 days a year, and it's always winter. Oh and one guy congratulated me on the new "University of Canada" we just got.

Happy Canada day all my Canuck friends. :)

I may not be a citizen, but I've lived in the wonderful country we call Canada, have for most of my life. I love the country and the people in it, and one day I hope to be able to call myself a Canadian, not just someone who lives in Canada.

I hope they let me stay. :)

    Happy Canada day!
